In my experience in the industry, especially as a result of my engagement with high-earning publishers, Ad Thrive is the premium ad network that pays the most.
They pay about $20 – $80 or more RPM (or rate per 1,000 Ad Impressions). Some publishers make as much as $30K on Ad Thrive per month. Others make $70K or more per month.
AdThrive know how to set up their ads on a site such that the RPM is at the highest level possible.
However, they are not easy to join. You need at least 100,000 page views.
After AdThrive, MediaVine is the next Ad Network that pays the most. Mediavine is another popular ad network that offers high-quality ad placements and personalized support. They require publishers to have a minimum of 50,000 monthly sessions (usually equivalent to around 25,000 monthly pageviews) to join.
Mediavine focuses on optimizing ad performance and user experience, resulting in higher earnings for publishers. On average, publishers using Mediavine can expect potential earnings of $15 to $30 per 1,000 visitors.
For some reason, Ezoic is usually underrated. But in reality, it is one of the highest-paying ad networks available today.
And the good thing about Ezoic is that there is no longer any traffic restriction. Almost all sites can be approved on Ezoic as long as they meet their requirements.
On Ezoic Premium, you can even earn way more than other publishers. But you’ll need to pay for the service and it is an invite-only program. Meaning, you cannot apply or choose to join Ezoic Premium. They invite you.
Overall, you’ll make more money from Ezoic Premium than what you pay for. So, in the end, it’s good business.
Another good thing about Ezoic is that their payment threshold and options are very friendly.
On average, Ezoic publishers can earn around $5 to $40 per 1,000 visitors, although this can vary depending on factors like website niche, traffic quality, and user engagement.
Monumetric, formerly known as The Blogger Network, is an ad network that serves publishers with mid-range traffic levels.
While their specific traffic requirements may vary, they typically require a minimum of 10,000 to 80,000 monthly pageviews. Monumetric focuses on providing premium ad experiences and competitive payouts.
On average, publishers using Monumetric can expect potential earnings ranging from $5 to $15 per 1,000 visitors.
The downside of Monumetric is that you’ll need to pay a one-time setup fee of about $100 to join them. But I think they allow this to be deducted from your earnings on the platform.
And the majority of your website traffic must be from the US, Canada, UK, and Australia, to be approved on Monumetric.
5. Google AdSense
Although the earnings on Google AdSense cannot be compared to the other Ad Networks mentioned above, it is still way better than many other ad networks. Hence, I can comfortably say Google AdSense is the 5th best-paying ad network.
The minimum traffic requirement to join AdSense is relatively flexible, with no specific threshold. However, you need to follow this guideline for fast approval on AdSense.
Earnings per 1,000 visitors with AdSense can vary significantly based on factors like niche, ad placement, and user engagement. On average, publishers can expect potential earnings of $1 to $5 per 1,000 visitors with AdSense. However, you can make more on AdSense with Ezoic Mediation.
The standard payment threshold on AdSense is $100 but given some unique circumstances, you can withdraw less than $100.
