If you are planning to monetize your blog with Ezoic, it is important to know the requirements before trying to apply. In this post, I’ll let you know what you need, how much Ezoic costs (if at all) and how to remove it.
Let’s get to it.
What is Ezoic?
Ezoic is an Advertising network that helps publishers get the best profit from display ads on their blog. Through effective use of the Google Ad Manager, Ezoic sets it such that the highest bidding advertiser are displayed on your blog instead of the low biding ones.
This simply means that you are guaranteed to make more money on Ezoic than on AdSense with the same amount of traffic.
In case you do not know, Ezoic also offers Free WordPress hosting if you are monetizing on their platform.

If your website meet the following Ezoic Requirements, you’ll have no problem being approved.
There is no minimum amount of traffic needed to start monetizing on Ezoic.
However, before now, they had a 10,000 Pageview minimum requirement. But that has changed now. This simply means that growing websites can apply to monetize on Ezoic.
Just like every other ad network, they expect your content to be original and giving value.
This should naturally be part of your work ethic as a publisher.
You are likely not going to be approved if your contents are not original or lacking quality.
AdSense is Approval is not a Criteria
You do not need to be approved by AdSense to apply for Ezoic monetization. However you need to comply with AdSense policy.
It must be blog. Ezoic don’t accept corporate websites for monetizing.
However, they may consider you if you have a blog attached to that site either as a subdomain or subdirectory. Also they do not accept e-commerce sites.

Domain Approval By Google
After initial approval by Ezoic, you’ll need further approval by Google to start monetizing. You’ll be required to create a Google Ad manager account and Google MUST have to approve your Domain before you can start monetizing on Ezoic.
Again, it comes back to your content quality.
This is requirement is actually very important and publishers need to keep this in mind. You could be approved by Ezoic but if Google does not approve your domain, you CANNOT monetize on Ezoic.
Ezoic supports about 50 Languages for now. See the list of languages below:
- Chinese (Simplified)
- Chinese (Traditional)
- Spanish (European)
- Spanish (Latin American)
How Much Does Ezoic Cost?
While Ezoic is free for all publishers who meet their requirements, there are premium features that you’ll need to pay for as your site grows although not compulsory.
Ezoic has the Ezoic Pro, Premium and VIP plans. The Ezoic Pro costs $5.99 monthly and $49.99 annually. However, for Premium and VIP, you’ll have to be invited by them to know how much it costs.
Can I use Ezoic Without AdSense?
Yes, 100%. You do not need to be approved by Adsense before applying to Ezoic. However, if you’ve been banned by AdSense before, you’re likely going to be rejected by Ezoic.
How much can you make with Ezoic?
Averagely, the range for earnings per 5,000 people traffic to niches and time will be in the range of $12 – $20 per month. However, this largely depends on a lot of factors including your EMPV.
But one thing is guaranteed, you are likely going to make more money on Ezoic than AdSense given the same amount of traffic.
How To Remove Ezoic
If for any reason you want to remove stop monetizing on Ezoic, one of the easiest ways is to disconnect whatever integration method used.
In your Ezoic dashboard, simply go to settings, then scroll down to Site integration. If you connected with Cloudfare, you can easily remove integration.
If you integrated via nameserver, simply remove the nameservers from your DNS settings. Or you could simply deactivate the plugin if you integrated with the plugin.
Whichever option you take, taking these actions mean Ezoic ads would no longer show on your blog.
For growing blogs, Ezoic is a good place to start. Since Ezoic requirements are not too difficult almost all good publishers should have their blog approved.
After approval, you’ll have one Ezoic staff as your Ad manager. It is important to keep a good rapport with this staff as they can help you maximize all opportunities to make more profit.
As your site grows, be prepared to invest in Ezoic (and earn more). Ezoic will invite you to join the VIP and Premium plan. You already know how much Ezoic pro costs.
And if for any reason you do not want Ezoic anymore, you already know how to remove or disconnect with it.
