Uncommon Ways To Improve Your SEO Fast [Easy Methods]

There are so many obvious ways to improve your SEO. These methods are everywhere, easy to find, and well-saturated. In this post, I’ll show you uncommon ways to improve your SEO.

On the other hand, these methods are very effective, yet not being talked about enough. So, it is an opportunity for you to tap into these uncommon methods to improve your SEO.

Without further ado, let’s highlight these methods.

1. Use FAQ Blocks

FAQ blocks are very important to SEO.

Interestingly, it is not being talked about as often as you hear of Backlinks, Guest Posts, Keyword research, etc.

FAQ blocks are simply blocks where Frequently Asked Questions are being answered. The questions have to be super relevant to the content.

The main importance of the FAQ block is that it adds a lot of value to readers. Also, by answering FAQs in your content, you have a better opportunity of getting some snippets on the SERP.

I already published a detailed guide on how to add an SEO-friendly FAQ block to your blog post. Read it and implement it.

2. Add As Many Relevant Images As Possible

It is no news that images are important to SEO but what is not being talked about is that by adding as many relevant images as possible, you have a better shot of getting more traffic from the search engine, which is your ultimate goal anyway.

By “relevant images”, I don’t mean stock images.

Stock images are everywhere. You can imagine how many publishers like you would have used the same images over and over.

The bottom line is stock images are not original.

Instead, you should use either a newly designed graphic image or a unique photo was taken from your smartphone or camera.

You can design a new custom image, Gif, or short video on Canva. Very easy to do.

Start adding as many images as possible.

3. Embed As Many Relevant Videos As Possible

Videos are so powerful for SEO.

In case you do not know, I conducted research and found out that embedding videos into your content improve your SEO better than images. Read about my research and findings here.

If you do not have the time to create your videos, no worries at all, you do not have to.

All you have to do is go to YouTube and find relevant videos to your content subheadings and embed them. It’s that simple.

You can embed 2 to 4 relevant videos in each piece of content.

How does this benefit your SEO? Every time your keyword is being searched on Google, your article would show up in the “video” section of the SERP.

Based on my study, clicks from the video section have far better CTR than from images.

Bottom line – embed relevant video content in your post to stand a better chance of getting traffic from the search engine. It is one of the uncommon SEO strategies that is now talked about enough.

4. Use Bullet Points In Your Conclusions

Conclusions are very important to SEO. But it is funny that many publishers do not even conclude in their posts.

While the conclusion is super important, it is even better to add bullet points to it.

Why is this important? Google scans through conclusions to get the main point or takeaway from your content. It then shows this as a snippet.

When you use bullet points, it is even easier for Google to read and interpret.

5 Write Killer Titles

The importance of writing converting titles is not well emphasized enough like backlinks, Guest posts, Keyword research, etc.

One of the main reasons why converting titles is important to SEO is that it improves your CTR by about 50%.

If for example, you are getting 10,000 impressions and 200 clicks from a particular page with just a regular title, you can get 500 or more clicks from the same page when you simply change the Title to something more compelling. It’s that simple.

In fact, this method has worked for me 100% of the time I tried it.

How do you write a killer title? Here is my formula = ([Key Phrase] + [Click bait])

For example, if your key phrase is HOW TO FIX A BROKEN PLATE, your killer title should be HOW TO FIX A BROKEN PLATE [WORKING METHOD!] or something like that.

The essence of adding a “clickbait” is to convince whoever is seeing your article on the SERP to be curious enough to click it even if it’s on no. 3, 5, or 7.

It’s so simple yet it converts a lot and many people are missing out.

Writing killer SEO titles is one of the most uncommon and unused SEO strategies.

6. Link To Your Cornerstone content on your Sidebar

Cornerstone content is the most important content on your blog. Maybe the most in-depth and informative.

For this kind of post to do well on the Search Engine, it is more important to link (internally) to such articles than every other article on your blog.

While it is important to link to these posts naturally in your content, it is also helpful to link to these posts on your sidebar. Why?

First, reading would have easy access to the most important articles on your blog.

Second, you are intelligently notifying the search engines that those posts are important to you and should be treated as such.
